A Scared Little Arrival
One morning, we found a tiny pink carrier sitting quietly outside our doorstep. Inside was a timid little cat with the softest eyes. She had no documents, no clue of where she came from, just her carrier and a heart full of fear.
Our boarding area was already full at the time, but there was no way we could turn her away. So, we made a little space and welcomed her in, giving her the name Peanut, because she was small, shy, and utterly precious.

A Visit to the Vet
Before Peanut could join the rest of the cats, we needed to be sure she was healthy. We took her to the vet for a full check-up, just to make sure she didn’t have anything contagious like FIV or FeLV that could spread through close contact.
The vet gently examined her and found that she had an ear infection, nothing too serious, but definitely something that needed care. The photo of her wrapped up like a tiny burrito was taken during her ear medicine time, all bundled in a towel and patiently waiting for her treats afterwards.

Even after she started to trust us, Peanut had to take another round of ear medication. To her, it felt confusing as she didn’t understand that we were helping her heal, only that we were holding her again when she wanted to rest.
The progress we made seemed to slip away for a while, and we had to start rebuilding her trust all over again. With time, patience, and gentle reassurance, Peanut learned once more that she was safe and loved. It reminded us that healing isn’t always a straight path. Sometimes it takes a few steps back before moving forward.
Healing and Heart-warming
With a little medicine, lots of treats, and gentle affection, Peanut slowly started to come out of her shell. Day by day, she began trusting us, greeting us with quiet purrs, enjoying chin scratches, and showing us her soft, loving side.
What started as a frightened little rescue turned into one of the sweetest souls we’ve ever met. Peanut reminded us how love and patience can turn fear into comfort, and uncertainty into family.

Now, Peanut spends her days lounging in sunny spots, watching the world go by from her favourite perch, and sharing gentle head bumps with everyone she meets. She’s found her happy place. surrounded by love, safety, and a family that adores her just as much as she adores them.
